The popular French bakery and pastry brand, Feuillette, is continuing its rapid expansion with the opening of its third location in the Nord department and its 100th bakery across France on Friday, November 28, 2025. This new opening in Lesquin, a suburb of Lille, signifies the brand’s growing success and commitment to the region.

Feuillette has quickly established itself as the third-largest player in the French bakery and pastry sector since its founding in 2009 by Jean-François Feuillette. The company’s growth strategy focuses on a franchise model that has proven attractive to entrepreneurs, as evidenced by the Wattignies franchisee’s decision to open a second Feuillette location. This latest expansion builds on previous inaugurations in Wattignies in November 2022 and Lambres-lez-Douai last September, solidifying the brand’s footprint in the North.

The new Feuillette bakery is located at 33 route de Douai, 59810 Lesquin, taking over the former site of a Buffalo Grill restaurant. The spacious location will accommodate approximately 100 seats and feature an outdoor terrace. Customers can expect the signature Feuillette experience: a diverse selection of sweet and savory products crafted with high-quality ingredients, with much of the baking and pastry-making done on-site throughout the day to ensure maximum freshness.
Economic Impact and Job Creation
The opening of the Lesquin bakery is expected to have a positive economic impact on the local community, creating 40 full-time jobs for bakers, pastry chefs, caterers, and sales associates. “Lesquin welcomes its new Feuillette bakery, the third in the North, strengthening the territorial coverage of the network and allowing even more customers to discover our world,” stated a company release. “This opening also marks a symbolic milestone: the 100th Feuillette bakery in France.”
