The conventional Balinese village, recognized by the UN World Tourism Organisation, is updating it’s pricing structure to offer more comprehensive experiences starting in 2026.

The village explained in a recent online publication that the new system, launching January 1, 2026, will focus on providing more focused, comfortable, and valuable experiences for tourists while concurrently contributing to cultural preservation and the well-being of its residents.
What’s changing with Penglipuran Village’s entry system? beginning in 2026, visitors will no longer be able to purchase standalone entrance tickets. Instead, they will be required to select from a range of visiting packages available at the official ticket counter.
Package Options and Pricing
visitors have two main options. Ticket Option One provides access to Jalan Utama Desa (the Main street), residents’ homes, and the bamboo forest. This option costs IDR 50,000 for international adults and IDR 30,000 for international children.Domestic tourists pay IDR 25,000 and IDR 15,000 for adults and children, respectively.
For a more immersive experience, Ticket Option Two includes a dedicated local guide and access to all public areas of the village, including residents’ homes and the bamboo forest. This package is priced at IDR 125,000 for international adults and IDR 100,000 for international children.
Beyond the core packages, Penglipuran Village offers a variety of cultural activities, from overnight stays to cooking classes and traditional photoshoots, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
