Riyadh: Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority has banned the importation of all types of sexual instruments in Saudi Arabia. If such devices are imported, they will be confiscated. Violators will be fined, officials said. According to the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, violators will be fined different amounts depending on the type and quantity of sex implements seized.

Jawasat to pay a fine of 1,000 Riyals if Iqama is lost
Riyadh: The Saudi Passport (Javasat) Directorate has clarified that if the Iqama, the identity card of expatriates, is lost, a fee of 500 riyals is applicable to issue a replacement Iqama. A fee of 500 Riyals must be paid for alternative iqama if one year or less remains in the iqama period. Fees are to be paid through Saddad system. There is a condition that Jawazat Directorate should be informed about the loss of Iqama to grant alternative Iqama.
In areas where there is no Jawazat Directorate, the loss of iqama should be reported at the police station. There is also a provision to produce a letter from the employer or guardian to the Head of Jawazat Directorate specifying the reason for loss of iqama and the place of loss. Production of valid passport of Iqama holder is also mandatory. If there is a copy of the lost Iqama, it should also be produced.
Non-resident travelers must disclose if they carry more than the specified amount
The information related to the loss of Iqama should be filled in a special form at the Directorate of Jawazat. Apart from this, the form for alternative iqama should also be filled and submitted. The form should be filled in a manner that completely matches the information in the passport. The employer must affix signature and seal on the filled forms.
Two recent color photographs should be submitted along with the application for grant of alternative iqama. A fine of 1,000 Riyals must also be paid for the loss of Iqama. Jawaharlal Nehru Directorate said that there is also a requirement to register fingerprint and iris image of the eye.
