Santander Bank has launched the fourteenth edition of its W50 scholarships, which offer a high-performance training program for female managers, taught in person by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Santander Bank will select 50 women from among all the applications received. Women residing in Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, USA, Spain, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom and Uruguay can apply. The deadline for submitting applications ends on March 13, 2024.

The scholarship includes the entire cost of the program, tuition fees, and accommodation in London (United Kingdom) during the program dates.

The program will take place on the LSE campus itself, and will allow participants to enhance their personal leadership style through training, activities and individual coaching. Likewise, they will be able to share experiences with women from different countries, and promote international networking.

The W50 scholarship program Santander Bank It consists of three phases: an ‘online’ session, an in-person training program in London, and another session where participants will present their personal leadership development plans.

In all previous editions, Banco Santander has awarded these scholarships to a total of 750 female managers.

In the opinion of Marta Coromina, general director of the PwC Foundation, and Santander W50 alumni, “the experience went far beyond the development of skills, together with an incredible group of women in a situation similar to yours. It allows you to take a stop in your professional career, see where you are, think about where you want to go and reflect on what steps you have to follow.
