Bang & Olufsen has made a protected speaker Beosound Explore

Bang & Olufsen has unveiled the Beosound Explore portable speaker, the first rugged portable speaker in the brand’s lineup.

Beosound Explore has two 1.8-inch full-range speakers, which, thanks to the True360 system, provide a panoramic sound. It is stated that the column can work up to 27 hours without recharging. The acoustics supports stereo mode, in which two speakers can be connected to a sound source.

The body of the Bang & Olufsen novelty is made of anodized aluminum, and the top and bottom surfaces are made of rubberized. The control buttons are located on the upper end and are made with the expectation of the ability to work with the column with gloves. The Beosound Explore is IP67 dust and water resistant. The 631 g speaker can be hung on backpacks and other items with a waterproof strap and an aluminum carabiner.

Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore is now on sale. New in black and green, costs € 199; the gray version of the speaker will be available from the summer of 2021.
