State Minister of Labor and Employment. Nazrul Islam Chowdhury said, Bangabandhu’s unfinished autobiography will create a self-reliant nation. Bangabandhu’s late life and colorful political history should be spread among everyone.

He said this at the ‘Bangabandhu Shishu Kishore Painting Competition and Prize Distribution’ on the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day, organized by Chittagong Association Dhaka at Chittagong Building, Dhaka on Sunday (March 17).

The state minister said that Bangabandhu’s ideals, Bangabandhu’s practices should be inculcated in school students from childhood. He requested the parents to encourage their children to read Bangabandhu’s ‘Unfinished Autobiography’ to know the true history of Bangabandhu, independence and the great liberation war.

In the painting competition, children and teenagers paint the rural scenes of Bangabandhu and Bangladesh.

At the end of the competition, the prizes were distributed among the winners and the cake was cut. Later tributes were paid by placing wreaths at the portrait of the Father of the Nation at 32 Dhanmondi.

Chittagong Association Dhaka President Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury presided over the program and other members of the association were present.

Earlier, on the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children’s Day, State Minister for Labor and Employment Bir Muktijoddha paid tribute to his portrait in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum on the 32nd road of Dhanmondi in the capital. After laying wreaths in the morning, the State Minister sought forgiveness for the souls of Bangabandhu and his family members who died on August 15. At this time, Labor and Employment Secretary. Mahbub Hossain and all the officials and employees of the ministry and directorate were present.
