BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury stated that Bangladesh is witnessing positive changes, with the people regaining a sense of ownership. The nation achieved independence in 1971 and once again in 2024. The people are now free. We will build a truly free Bangladesh.
He made these remarks at a rally organized in front of the BNP central office in Naya Paltan, Dhaka, on Wednesday (August 7) afternoon.
BNP is hosting this rally for the first time since the downfall of the Awami League and Sheikh Hasina’s government through the student-led coup on August 5. The party’s Acting Chairman, Tariq Rahman, delivered a virtual speech as the chief guest.
