Mohanlal shares character sketch of his first directorial venture ‘Barroz’. Mohanlal shared a sketch of himself and a girl on social media. The poster was designed by Sethu Sivanandan. Mohanlal said that the shooting of the film, which was stopped by Kovid after the second wave, will resume tomorrow.
The film made headlines at the time of its announcement as Mohanlal’s directorial debut. The official launch of the film, which was announced in April 2019, was on March 24 this year. During the Marakkar promotion, Mohanlal had said that although the film was shot in Kerala and Goa for several days, the entire shoot had to be abandoned. The film was hit with a continuity issue due to a long schedule break.
Mohanlal is directing a film based on the story of Jijo, who directed India’s first 3D film ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’. Mohanlal also plays the title character ‘Bhootha’ in the film. It has not been officially announced whether there will be a difference in the cast of foreign actors playing the lead roles.
