Season Opener and Early Challenges
The Governors will open their season with a home-and-home series against Bryan College on November 3rd,marking their first meeting as a home-and-home series in November 2011.
The regular season officially tips off on November 3 with a home game against Bryan college, part of a doubleheader at F&M Bank Arena. This will be the first meeting between the two programs since a decisive Austin Peay victory in 1993. The Governors boast a 2-0 record in home openers at F&M Bank Arena, having secured wins against Union and Life in the past two seasons.
Coast-to-Coast Road Trip
Following the season opener, Austin Peay embarks on a demanding five-game road trip that will span the American West and beyond. The journey begins with a November 8th matchup against Air Force – their first encounter since the 2011 National Invitational Tournament – and continues with an inaugural trip to Wyoming on November 11.
The road trip then shifts eastward, with a November 15th contest against UNC Greensboro, marking the first meeting between the programs as 1993.This game is part of the Atlantic Sun Conference-Southern Conference Alliance. A subsequent stop in Oxford, Mississippi, will see the Governors face a formidable Ole Miss team on November 18. Ole Miss concluded the 2024-25 season ranked No. 18 in the Associated Press Poll after a Sweet 16 run in the NCAA Tournament. Return to Clarksville and Beyond
