The organization of the BCHK in Pazardzhik together with the Pazardzhik municipality held an action for mass dyeing of eggs. The charity initiative is the final stage of the Easter campaign, which took place under the motto “EASTER FOR EVERYONE”
The municipal Red Cross societies, with the help of the mayors in Pazardjik Municipality, donated a total of 2685 pcs. eggs. The village of Gelemenovo participated with the largest amount of eggs – 700 eggs. ; Glavinitsa village – 570 units. ; Yunatsite village – 180 units. ; Sinitevo – 170 pcs. and the village of Dobrovnitsa – 150 units.
The teams of “Spring” Kindergarten, DG “Yuriy Gagarin” and DG “Sun” boiled and painted some of the donated eggs.
With a donation from Kozunaci, local companies also joined the charity campaign.
Volunteers from the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross also donated cakes and sweets and actively participated in painting the eggs.
All the collected donations were distributed and distributed to the residents of the old people’s homes in the city of Pazardzhik and the village of Glavinitsa, the users of the social services: “Public dining room for socially weak elderly”; “Social service domestic helpers”; “Shelter for adults”; sheltered housing “EGIDA”; state psychiatric hospital; to the children from the National Secondary School – Pazardzhik, the Central Technical University in the city of Pazardzhik and the village of Aleko Konstantinovo, as well as to needy residents of the municipality. The organizers thanked everyone who participated in the charity event and wished them a happy Easter.
