Fujairah: The court in Fujairah, UAE sentenced a mother who beat her two children with a phone charger cable. The woman was fined Dh1,100 by the Fujairah Federal Court of First Instance. They beat the eight- and ten-year-old children with a cable. Children were injured in the beating.

The Civil Court has ordered to pay 20,000 dirhams as compensation to the children’s father who filed a complaint in the incident. The complaint is that the woman beat her children with a cable. According to the medical report, the 10-year-old boy had bruises on his outside, thigh and face. The report also states that the left thigh, left leg and right thigh of the eight-year-old child were injured.

During interrogation, the children’s mother confessed to the crime. The woman told the court that the children were beaten with phone charger cables in order to study. The verdict was announced considering the woman’s confession. The father of the children filed a lawsuit in the Fujairah Federal Court of First Instance demanding that his ex-wife pay Dh49,000 as compensation.
