A 17-year-old boy from the north of the USA was killed in a fatal accident after being dragged into an industrial machine for crushing tree trimmings. He arrived at the critical condition hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The findings of the initial investigation revealed that Isaiah Beddox, a resident of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, was dragged into the machine after his shirt got caught in one of its blades. The boy was rushed to a hospital in the area when he was mortally wounded, where the doctors did everything they could to stabilize his condition, but to no avail. Beddox was pronounced dead about an hour after he was found inside the industrial wood chipper.
One of the neighbors who was on the scene at the time of the incident told the reporters of the news channel WPVU-TV: “It was horrible. I am very saddened by what happened to this young man. I am very sorry that he did not survive this terrible accident.” Since Bedoux’s tragic death, a friend of the family has launched a fundraising campaign to help fund the boy’s funeral. “He worked at a tree trimming company with one of his friends over the summer,” Kristin Castro wrote in the campaign description. “This tragedy shocked all the residents of the area.”
Sources reported that there is currently no suspicion of malice. Nevertheless, detectives are awaiting the autopsy report after the death, to determine for sure that it was an accident. Beyond that, the local authorities are also investigating the circumstances of the incident.
