Following the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom, Canada has announced that it will diplomatically boycott the Beijing Winter Olympics.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has condemned the ongoing human rights abuses in China. He said his country’s athletes continue to train for international competition and that they will compete in the Beijing Winter Olympics. He also assured that all facilities for the players will be made available.
