Controversy has arisen after airport officials asked a woman to remove her shirt and made her stand in her underwear during the security check at Bangalore’s Kempegowda International Airport.
Posting about this on her Twitter page, the woman said, “I was asked to remove my shirt during the security check at Bangalore airport. It is very humiliating to stand as a woman wearing a camisole at the security check. What is the need to remove a woman’s clothes?” posted that.
In this case, the official Twitter page of Bengaluru Airport, which continues to respond to passengers’ complaints on Twitter, has responded to this incident, “We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. We have conveyed this to our operations team. We have also informed the CISF security team about this.”
