“Dean” Jérôme Carlos is no more. The highly respected Beninese journalist and intellectual broke his pen on Monday January 15 at the age of 79. Tributes to the illustrious media figure in Benin have multiplied since then.
Jérôme Carlos, the Doyen, as he is called in the press world, has made a name for himself through his columns published by several media for a long time and on his own radio channel, CAPP FM. The man was immense: a journalist who practiced the profession in Ivory Coast but also an influential writer and intellectual.
