Beyonce has thrilled her fans by releasing the full trailer for her upcoming concert film based on her blockbuster 2023 Renaissance World Tour. The film, titled “Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce,” will be hitting theaters in the United States on December 1.
In the trailer, Beyonce can be heard purring, “When I am performing, I am nothing but free. My goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged.” The singer’s company, Parkwood Entertainment, teased a late announcement for the final domestic stop on her tour, and she uploaded the trailer to her Instagram shortly before 11 p.m. Pacific.
The film promises to be a family affair, as footage of Beyonce rehearsing with her eldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who is also a backup dancer, can be seen in the trailer. Additionally, Beyonce and Jay-Z’s twins, Rumi and Sir, make appearances in the film. Jay-Z himself is also heard in voiceover, asking his wife about her intentions with this latest creative effort.
In a recent exclusive report, Variety revealed that Beyonce closed a deal to distribute the concert film directly with exhibition giant AMC Theatres. She also announced that the film will be shown in other theater chains such as Regal and Cinemark.
