Former President Trump has never participated in a Republican primary debate, but has insisted that he is “willing to debate anytime, anywhere” with President Biden. On this day, they immediately responded to President Biden’s surprise remarks.
Trump campaign senior advisor Chris Lasivita welcomed the event through social media X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Okay, let’s get ready!”
Even as former President Trump was on trial on charges of illegal spending of hush money related to sexual misconduct allegations against adult actors, former President Trump posted on the SNS Truth Social, “Crooked Joe Biden just announced that he is willing to debate. “Everyone knows he doesn’t mean it, but if he does, he will say anytime, anywhere, any place,” he wrote.
He continued, “I suggest Monday evening, Tuesday evening, or Wednesday evening when the election campaign is held in Michigan,” and claimed, “Michigan is a place that Biden is destroying with electric vehicle regulations.”
He also said that he is undergoing several trials due to President Biden’s witch hunt, and said, “Actually, let’s have a debate in court tonight, and I will wait around.”
The Commission on Presidential Debates, a non-profit organization, previously announced the schedule for three presidential debates: September 16 (San Marcos, Texas), October 1 (Petersburg, Virginia), and October 9 (Salt Lake City, Utah). There is a bar.
