What’s happening at the Big 4 Port Willunga Tourist Park? Police are treating a man’s death as suspicious after he was found dead in a cabin, and are questioning another man who voluntarily came forward.
Emergency services were alerted to the Big 4 Port Willunga Tourist Park, located on Tuit Road in Aldinga, at approximately 2:15 p.m. on February 29, 2024. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a man deceased inside one of the park’s cabins.
Around the same time, police reported that another man “presented himself at a police station.” Detectives are currently questioning this individual regarding the incident. Members of the Southern District CIB are on-site, and forensic and crime scene investigators are assisting with the investigation.
“The scene has been secured and the public are asked to avoid the area,” police stated. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected to be released as they become available.
