Nitish Kumar Angered by Request to Translate Hindi Speech

This request angered Nitish Kumar, who interrupted by stating, “Hindi is our national language. So we should all know that. English is a language imposed by the British.”
This outburst led to the meeting becoming tense, with some leaders attempting to calm Nitish Kumar down. Reportedly, after Nitish Kumar’s speech, no one came forward to translate for him, and even the speech of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was left without translation.
