Biker injured in car collision

Upputhara: Chappath Heavenly Valley Paraikkal Suresh (45), a biker, was injured in an accident involving a car and a bike on the Kattapana-Kuttikanam state highway. The accident took place between Chappat and Aladi Gate. Suresh, an electrical worker, was returning from Aladi when the oncoming car hit his bike. The car did not stop. He was rushed to the private hospital in Kattappana by the locals.
Suresh, who was seriously injured in his leg, was later shifted to Theni Medical College Hospital for specialist treatment. The number plate of the car that did not stop was recovered from the spot by the Uppthara police.
