The 18 individuals face a range of charges, including reckless driving, failing to stop for police, and possessing prohibited items, police said. The vice president of one of the gangs is facing additional charges related to his alleged role in coordinating gang activities.
“These charges are the result of a sustained operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs and their alleged criminal activities,” a police spokesperson stated.
“We will continue to disrupt and dismantle these groups to ensure the safety of the Western Australian community,” a police spokesperson said.
All 18 individuals are scheduled to appear in Perth Magistrates Court at a later date. Police have not released the names of those charged.
