Cherthala: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said BJP will not win in any constituency in the state. BJP will not win even one of the 20 constituencies. The Chief Minister said that BJP will not even get second position in any constituency. The Chief Minister was speaking to the media in Alappuzha in connection with the LDF’s election campaign.

“Communalism will not be allowed to set foot in Kerala. It will defiantly oppose the threats posed by the Sangh Parivar and act as a driving force to oust them from power. The CPM has clearly stated in its manifesto that it will repeal the black laws like UAPA and PMLA. This cannot be seen in the Congress manifesto. Congress’s criminal silence on the CAA issue,” said the Chief Minister.

In 2016, BJP opened an account in Kerala. Part of BJP’s strength is not openness. Even BJP cannot claim that. We closed that account for the 2021 election. V. Sivankutty won from there. In 2011, the UDF had 17.38 percent votes in Nemat. In 2016, it decreased to 9.7 percent. Where did the Congress votes go? BJP was able to open the account only when that vote was cast. UDF made it easy for BJP to open an account. We are not the ones to change our political stand for four votes” – the Chief Minister said.

Foreign universities

The budget said that the government will check the entry of foreign universities. That is not recognition. The government has not clarified its position. The party’s position has been clarified. Foreign universities do not require permission from the state.

Kozhikode Medical College Case

I understand that Minister Veena George has said that the High Court order will be followed in the Kozhikode Medical College incident. Something unexpected happened there. Action is being taken at the departmental level. It is not because of any grudge or interest. The minister said that the information of those found guilty in the investigation will be reported to the court and the court’s instructions will be followed.
