The vice chairman of the party, Major (retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, is expressing optimism that BNP will come to power in the state in a very short time.

He said this at a press conference organized at the party’s central office in Nayapaltan of the capital on Thursday (March 14).

Convener Hafiz Uddin Ahmed and other members of the Independence Celebration Committee formed by BNP on the occasion of the Great Independence Day were present.

Hafiz said, BNP is not a depressed party. BNP is a popular party. Had the last elections been held under a caretaker government, BNP would have been in power. The amount of oppression that has happened to BNP has not happened to any other party.

He said that BNP will come to power in a very short time. The ruling party does the politics of talking. Awami League leaders would not have a place to speak when the people went to the polling station.

Hafiz said, the war of liberation was the war of common people, not of any political party. Those who have not thought about freedom, are now the biggest bearers and bearers of the liberation war.

He also said that various programs will be announced under the leadership of BNP this month to inform the people about the contribution of Z Force and common people in the liberation war.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, Publicity Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury and other leaders were present at this time.
