Manarat International University Board of Trustees Holds Exchange Meeting
On Saturday (August 10), the members of the board of trustees of Manarat International University held an exchange meeting with the teachers and officials of the university.
The meeting took place at the seminar hall of the university’s Ashulia campus. Former Secretary Muhammad Fazlur Rahman, who chairs the board of trustees, presided over the meeting.
Those present at the meeting included former secretary Muhammad Ismail Hossain, former professor ATM Fazlul Haque, professor Dr. Mozammel Haque, Enamul Haque Chowdhury, former vice-chancellor of Manarat International University. Also present were M Umar Ali, Senior Advocate Matiur Rahman Akand, Engineer Abul Bashar, Brigadier General SM Mahbub-ul-Alam, Principal of Manarat Dhaka International School and College, Secretary of Manarat Trust, and former Joint Secretary Md. Shah Alam Bakshi.
The meeting began with a prayer for the martyrs of the anti-discrimination student movement, led by former professor ATM Fazlul Haque.
Chairman Muhammad Fazlur Rahman urged the teachers and officials to work diligently to make Manarat International University one of the best in the country. He also announced plans to identify and address the university’s current challenges.
