The dangerous Uruguayan drug trafficker, Sebastián Marset Cabrera, managed to escape from an operation by the Bolivian police forces, after he was located in the town of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, in the center of the country, some 870 kilometers from the capital La Paz. .
According to local media, which cited sources from the Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking (FELCN), the whereabouts of the Uruguayan had been found in that region. Both collaborated to coordinate the arrival in Uruguay of 450 kilograms of marijuana in a small plane that was piloted by Viveros Cartes.
The operations known as “Wayra” and “Halcón” led to the convictions of both the Paraguayan and Marset, who admitted being the recipient of the seized shipment.
