Bollywood director Pradeep Sarkar passes away, India

Mumbai:Bollywood director Pradeep Sarkar (67) passed away. It ended at 3.30 am on Friday. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra at 2.30 am due to low potassium level in his body. Director Hansal Mehta released the death information through Twitter. Before entering the film industry, Pradeep Sarkar has directed several music videos and commercials. He became a director in 2005 with the film ‘Parineeta’. Other films directed by him are ‘Laaga Chunari Mein Daag’, ‘Lafange Parinde’, ‘Mardaani’, ‘Helicopter Eula’. Ajay Devgn, Manoj Bajpayee, Kunal Kohli, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Rani Mukerji and many others have condoled. He has also directed several web series like ‘Cold Lassi Aur Chicken Masala’, ‘Arranged Marriage and Forbidden Love’ and ‘Duranga’. Interment followed at Santa Cruz Cemetery. Wife: Panchali.
