BJP National Spokesperson Syed Sab Islam has insisted that Bollywood stars should reduce their salaries.
In recent times many Hindi films have not collected as much as expected and the producers have faced losses. This has been emphasized from the BJP side. Due to this, when the film of the leading heroes fails, the producers face a huge loss.
In this regard, BJP National Spokesperson Syed Sab Islam posted on Twitter on Tuesday, ‘Bollywood stars should reduce their salaries to help producers make good films. You should feel the impact on the film industry when the films you act in fail to release. If the leading actresses take a cut in their salaries, the producers can also focus on films of national interest. The film industry should also remember that in today’s modern era, with the advent of OTT platforms, people have the opportunity to watch better films at a lower cost.
The Indian film industry is one of the sectors with the highest income inequality. That too after Corona the movie industry is on the decline as the number of people coming to theaters has decreased. Mainly in the Hindi film industry, the big budget films starring the leading actors have been failing lately. But there is an allegation that only the salaries of the actresses are rising.
