BonSens complaint against Bill Gates: the start of the trial postponed to October 20

by time news

The BonSens.org association and three of its administrators summoned Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates before the Nanterre court through their lawyer Me Diane Protat. The first hearing in this case was scheduled for today, Thursday 22 September. On the other hand, Mr. Gates’ lawyers this month called for a postponement of the hearing to a later date on the grounds that they “need a short time to discuss with our client and his American advisers”. See our article about it here.

Contacted, Me Diane Protat, who went to the Court of Nanterre today, informs us that the date for the start of the trial has been set for October 20 in the morning. She says she is satisfied, since referrals in this overcrowded court last two months on average. The lawyers of Mr. Bill Gates will also have 15 days to send their written arguments as part of the defense of their client.

The plaintiffs believe they were denigrated by the billionaire on prime time in front of millions of viewers during his interview on France 2 on May 6, 2022.
