Minister of Youth and Sports Ahmed Al-Mubarqa confirmed today, Friday, that the 25th Baghdad Book Fair is a bright image of the civilized level of Iraq.
Al-Mubarqa told the (INA): “The book has a clear impact on consolidating national awareness, and there is no doubt that the book is an important source of knowledge in confronting the sources that trivialize society and flatten its thinking,” noting that “the Ministry of Youth supports this exhibition, and hopes that thousands of young people will benefit from free purchase coupons worth (25) thousand dinars.”
He added that “the exhibition contributes to attracting young people from electronic reading to paper reading,” noting that “the book fair carries within its folds and wings a bright image to the world, clarifying the level of civilization that Iraq has reached.”
