Boris Becker visited the Rolex Masters tennis tournament in Monte-Carlo at the weekend with his partner Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro. The two witnessed how the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas clearly beat the Norwegian Casper Ruud 6:1 and 6:4.
Boris Becker had also appeared on the court at the tennis tournament throughout his career. He had made it to the final in Monte Carlo three times, but he was never able to win. In 1995, the athlete experienced one of his bitterest defeats there against the Austrian Thomas Muster. The lost final gave him “many sleepless nights,” Becker once said in an interview. But the bankruptcy seems to have been forgotten because the 56-year-old was in a good mood at the weekend: Was that because of his company?

Boris Becker published some impressions from Monte Carlo on Instagram. In the photos, the tennis legend can be seen in a casual look with a light blue shirt, white jacket and brown sunglasses. His partner Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro also opted for summery styling. In one picture she is wearing a yellow dress, in another photo her light blue outfit matches Becker’s color perfectly. Both styles have one thing in common: the short dresses perfectly highlight the risk analyst’s silhouette thanks to their figure-hugging cut.
In both couple photos, a broad smile adorns Boris Becker’s face. Whether with a hand on his knee or an arm around his shoulder: the ex-sports star sought physical contact with his Lilian. Becker’s followers are happy about the private recordings. “You look happy and fit, I’m happy for you”, “It’s nice to see you so relaxed” and “You’re a great couple” are just a few Instagram comments.
Boris Becker and Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro have been a couple since 2020, and a year later they appeared together in public for the first time. Even in difficult times, the native African stood by the former tennis player: When Becker was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for insolvency offenses in April 2022, the couple presented themselves as a unit.
