On one hand, while big budget films like ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ and ‘Maidan’ have already flopped badly, on the other hand, Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ and Vidya Balan-Prateik Gandhi’s ‘Do Aur ‘Do Pyaar’ has also disappointed badly. Both these films together have not been able to earn Rs 1 crore at the box office on the first day. It is interesting that both the newly released films are getting praise from the critics. But despite this, it has proved to be a laggard in terms of earnings in theatres. By the way, the same thing happened with Ajay Devgan’s ‘Maidan’ released last week. The film received a lot of praise, but the same was not reflected in its earnings. While ‘Maidan’ has earned some money due to the star power of Ajay Devgan, the condition of LSD2 and ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ is bad.
‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ earned only Rs 50 lakh on opening day
‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’, directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, presents a new take on extra marital affairs. Vidya Balan and Prateik Gandhi are in lead roles in the film. According to the report of sacnilk, this film, made with a budget of around Rs 40 crore, has done a business of only Rs 50 lakh on Friday on the opening day. During this period, an average of 90 out of 100 chairs were seen empty in film shows in theatres.

LSD2 earned only Rs 15 lakh on the first day
On the other hand, the condition of Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ is even worse. This film has earned only Rs 15 lakh on the first day. There were no spectators on 95 out of 100 seats during the film shows in theaters on Friday. This film tells the story of love in the age of social media in a bold and frank manner. Although Dibakar Banerjee’s filmmaking is being praised a lot, but looking at the earning situation, it seems that it will not be able to show much impact.

The first part of ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ was released in the year 2010. This film of Dibakar Banerjee gave Bollywood a star like Rajkumar Rao. Whereas Urfi Javed has debuted on the big screen with LSD2. Apart from him, there are all new actors in the film. Dibakar’s LSD franchise is known for its unique filmmaking.
