French hockey Star Tim bozon Alleges “Personal Matter†Behind Olympic Snub

I play in a big championship,I’ve been averaging half a point per match for three years,I score around fifteen goals per season.â€
However, bozon believes the issue extends beyond on-ice performance. He alleges a “personal matter†is at play,claiming coach Treille is “making him pay something.†Reports from the hockey news site Hockey Archives suggest a possible “tough character†may have contributed to the decision, noting Bozon wasn’t even on the pre-list of potential players.
The roots of this apparent conflict may trace back to earlier this year. Treille was previously coach of Genève-Servette before being dismissed due to poor results. bozon, returning from injury at the time, admits his performance wasn’t at its peak, but attributes this to extenuating circumstances. “When he was coach in Geneva, I did not play my best hockey. That, I readily admit. Except it was a coincidence. I had a complicated summer, disrupted readiness, injuries, a huge physical delay,†he explained. He further stated that he began to regain form just before Treille’s departure, and afterward played his best matches immediately after.“I think he felt betrayed. But for my part, there was never the slightest intention of playing against him.â€
Bozon claims his exclusion from the national team began immediately following Treille’s dismissal from Genève-Servette. “But after his dismissal in Geneva, I suddenly disappeared (from the French team lists). For me, it’s clear. In the way he spoke to me, in his tone, I felt a lot of hatred.†Despite the accusations, Bozon vehemently denies being a disruptive influence. He asserts he contacted team executives who confirmed there have never been issues with his conduct within the group. “I have the feeling that I have been lied to, that I have been given reasons that do not hold water. I except my character, I assume my faults. But what I’m being accused of here is not reality.â€
