Drivers saving 17.50 zł on a single fill-up find fuel prices facing downward pressure in October 2026 as major retail networks launch loyalty app promotions offering discounts up to 40 groszy per liter, running alongside market adjustments and a tax on corporate windfalls.
Motorists purchasing the maximum 50-liter limit save 17.50 zł. The actual price paid at the pump increasingly depends on digital coupons, loyalty tiers, and purchasing habits.
BP App Offers 35 Groszy Discount
BP has reintroduced its “-35 gr/l” promotion across its Polish network, giving drivers using the BPme mobile application a direct price cut on regular unleaded 95 gasoline and diesel fuel. The discount became active on October 1, 2026, and runs through October 21, 2026.
A weekly coupon appears in the application for registered users. Each coupon covers a single transaction of up to 50 liters. The promotion operates seven days a week, allowing drivers to redeem the discount whenever they visit a station rather than restricting savings to specific days.

BP includes drivers running liquefied petroleum gas in its app offers, providing a 10 groszy per liter reduction on weekly LPG fill-ups up to 50 liters, which yields a maximum savings of 5 zł.
Orlen and AMIC Energy Offer Tiered Fuel Rebates
Orlen, which possesses the largest retail station network in Poland, maintains a promotional structure through its Orlen Vitay program running through October 15, 2026. Orlen issues a sequence of three tiered coupons worth 10 zł, 15 zł, and 20 zł, totaling 45 zł in potential savings for motorists who make consecutive purchases of at least 30 liters.

AMIC Energy applies a tiered discount structure tied to convenience store purchases. Customers using the AMIC Energy application can access a base coupon worth up to 30 groszy per liter, or increase the reduction to 40 groszy per liter by bundling their fuel purchase with qualifying store items such as a Mega Kawa, Big Dog, or windshield washer fluid.
Tax Cuts and Price Caps Drive Fuel Competition
Nominal prices at stations previously adjusted downward by 1.2 to 1.3 zł per liter following the implementation of the CPN framework—officially termed Ceny Paliwa Niżej—which reduced excise duty and value-added tax rates from 23 to 8 percent, alongside daily maximum price caps announced by the minister of energy.
Grzegorz Maziak of e-petrol.pl noted that retail locations continue to compete aggressively below those administrative ceilings, keeping average market figures below statutory limits.
President Karol Nawrocki signed the legislation concerning the windfall profit tax on fuel conglomerates, an enactment highlighted by mobimaniak.pl, while Minister of Finance Andrzej Domański projected that fuel price reductions would become visible to drivers over the weekend.
