Moreirense, who had come off two wins in the first two rounds, equalized with a goal from Asué at 53 minutes, but a brace from Zalazar at 56 and 76 minutes secured the win for Sporting de Braga.
With this victory, Sporting de Braga isolated themselves in fourth place in the I League, with seven points, two behind the trio of leaders consisting of Sporting, FC Porto, and Famalicão, while Moreirense dropped to seventh place with six points.
