Brahmapuram Garbage Fire; Schools in Kochi remain closed tomorrow

Due to the fire at the garbage plant, the collector has announced a holiday for schools in Kochi tomorrow. Anganwadis, Kindergartens, Day Care Centers, Government Aid and Government Aid in local bodies of Vadavukode – Puthankurish Gram Panchayat, Kishkanmbalam Gram Panchayat, Kunnathunad Gram Panchayat, Thrikkakara Municipality, Thripunithura Municipality, Maradu Municipality, Kochi Municipal Corporation as part of health precaution following the fire at Brahmapuram Waste Collection Plant. Collector Renuraj informed that the students of classes one to seven of CBSE and ICSE schools will also have a holiday on Tuesday. Public examinations remain unchanged.
