Initial Group Invests in Good World Management, Fueling Artist Growth in Evolving Music Industry

Initial Group’s strategic investment in Good World Management signals a significant move to bolster artist development and navigate the complexities of the modern music landscape. The partnership, announced on Monday, February 9, aims to unlock new opportunities for artists and representatives across various mediums and markets.

Initial Group, launched in 2024 with backing from asset management firm TPG, has quickly established itself as a key player in the talent management space. Prior to the Good World acquisition, Initial’s portfolio included investments in Untitled Entertainment, Grandview, and Initial Digital (formerly Silver Tribe Media, acquired in December). This latest addition underscores the firm’s commitment to building a comprehensive ecosystem for creative professionals.

Brandon Creed, a highly respected artist manager, founded Good World in 2023. The company has rapidly assembled a prominent roster of talent, including Charli xcx, Troye Sivan, Mark Ronson, and Tame Impala. Since its inception, Good World has expanded its client base to include Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Role Model, and, most recently, Conan Gray.

“Brandon has built a remarkable community of artists and representatives by creating a space where people are empowered to do their best work,” stated the CEO of Initial Group, Michel Pratte, in a recent interview. “We are excited to partner with Good World to expand the impact of our shared vision.”

Creed echoed this sentiment, adding, “At Good World, we love working with visionary artists and building unique ecosystems around them.”

The investment from Initial Group is designed to facilitate Good World’s continued expansion and provide enhanced support for its artists and staff. According to a company release, the collaboration will focus on enduring career development and fostering a creative environment at all levels. The partnership aims to support the “modern global artist” by unlocking opportunities across diverse platforms.

The move comes as Creed was recognized as Billboard’s 2025 Manager of the Year, further solidifying his position as a leader in the industry. This investment is poised to accelerate Good World’s trajectory and empower its artists to thrive in an increasingly dynamic market.
