Brigadier General Erez Wiener, today (Thursday) was a guest on the program “Thursday at Five” with Neve Drumi on Now 14 and expressed criticism of Israel’s apparent naval agreement with Lebanon and the terrorist organization Hezbollah.
In the program, Viner revealed the disdainful response he received from the security system, during the decision on the expulsion from Gush Katif: “When I expressed my professional opinion in a military forum on the subject of disengagement, a former general told me: “Sit down, you are a settler with a kippa”.
“The senior leadership went with the direction that the political echelon requested, history proves that I was right,” added Wiener.
