The De Vive(s) Voix team is in Strasbourg for the staging ofA wildcat step, given from March 2 to 10, 2023 at the Théâtre National de Strasbourg. Commissioned from Marie N’Diaye for the exhibition The Black Model at the Musée d’Orsay in 2019, this work attempts to reconstitute the life of the Cuban singer Maria Martinez (the “black Malibran”), who enjoyed ephemeral fame before disappearing into misery, in 19th-century Parise century.
