The British Embassy in Libya on Tuesday expressed its concern about the findings of the report of the United Nations Fact-Finding Mission on Human Rights, noting the importance of following up this report with concrete actions, including the Human Rights Council.

In a tweet on its Twitter account, the embassy referred to the evidence contained in the report of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and gross violations of basic human rights.

“Transparency and accountability for human rights violations must be at the heart of the Libyan transitional process,” she said.
