BSEC wants the picture of capital market irregularities with evidence from the investigation committee

He said these things at a press conference organized by the Integrated Investigation and Investigation Committee of BSEC on Monday (September 2). BSEC commissioner at this time. ATM Tarikuzzaman, Mohsin Chowdhury and members of the Integrated Investigation Committee were present.

The BSEC chairman said that the committee will start an investigation on the issues raised in the media. Initially, investigation will be started with 12 companies. After that other companies will be investigated in succession. Journalists are very important stakeholders in this regard.

When asked about the involvement of two of the five members of the inquiry committee with market intermediaries, he said, “Everywhere we go, there is the involvement of someone else or the other.” Now when our committee investigates, if it comes up that someone is involved in something, then that member will recuse himself on that particular issue. The rest of the committee will then investigate. It happens all over the world. This is a very common thing.

Khandkar Rashed Maksud said, the stock market will become important in the future. We have taken these decisions after 11 days of formation of this commission. Will do more in the future, that’s the clear message. The stock market will be made a place of trust for everyone.
