Buffalo Bills Fire Offensive Coordinator Ken Dorsey; Joe Brady Named Interim Replacement

by time news

The Buffalo Bills have made a major shakeup to their coaching staff following a disappointing loss on Monday night. Offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey has been fired by head coach Sean McDermott in the wake of the team’s 24-22 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Dorsey, who was promoted to the coordinator role after Brian Daboll left for the Giants head coaching job in 2022, has been let go after the team’s offensive struggles in recent weeks. Quarterbacks coach Joe Brady will take over as the interim offensive coordinator as the Bills look to turn their season around.

The Bills finished second in points last season and currently sit at eighth in the league this season, but have struggled to find consistency on offense. The team has lost four of their last six games and has been plagued by turnovers, giving up possession 18 times.

Brady, who previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers, will now be tasked with reviving the Bills’ offense and putting quarterback Josh Allen and the rest of the team on a trajectory that can lead them back to the playoffs.

The decision to fire Dorsey comes as a major shakeup for the Bills, and it remains to be seen how the team will respond to the coaching change as they look to get their season back on track.
