The Madhya Pradesh government has taken strict action against illegal meat shops and accused individuals in two separate incidents in Ujjain and Bhopal. In Ujjain, ten shops selling meat illegally were bulldozed as part of the state-wide ban on the sale of meat in public places. All shops operating without permission were warned to shut down or face action.

In Bhopal, the houses of three individuals involved in an attack on a BJP worker were demolished. Farooq Rane, Bilal, and Aslam were named as the accused in the case related to the attack on BJP worker Devendra Thakur. Officials revealed that the prime accused, Farooq Rane, had also been listed in the gangster list of the Habibganj police station in Bhopal. The demolished houses were found to have been built on illegally encroached land.

These actions come as a part of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s crackdown on illegal activities and the enforcement of laws in the state. The government’s efforts to maintain law and order in Madhya Pradesh have been evident through these recent developments.
