Vande will be built on Bharat’s platform

“It is being built on the Vande Bharat platform which can already reach a maximum speed of 220 kmph,” a Railway Board official said. The designs of Made in India Bullet Train are being prepared at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) of Indian Railways located in Chennai. It is noteworthy that globally famous high-speed trains like French TGV and Japanese Shinkansen run at a speed of more than 250 km per hour.

The technology for the under construction bullet train has been received from Japan.
India is dependent on Japanese technology for the bullet trains running on the line being built between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. The Shinkansen E5 series bullet trains, which India will deploy on this route, can reach speeds of 320 kmph. Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is providing a soft loan of about ₹40,000 crore for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed ​​Rail project. The total project cost is more than ₹1.08 lakh crore.

The speed will be faster than the original train
According to the said official of Railway Board, till now Indian Railways is focusing on improving the speed of trains. “The proposed Bullet variant of Vande Bharat trains can go from zero to 100 kmph in 52 seconds, while the existing Bullet trains do so in 54 seconds,” he said. It is noteworthy that ICF manufactures indigenously developed Vande Bharat trains. Made in India bullet trains will run on the North, South, East corridors which were announced recently. “Indian technology and domestic manufacturing will be used more in the new corridor,” the official said.

300 kilometer work completed
National High Speed ​​Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is implementing the Bullet Train Project being built between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. The company has recently announced that project 300 km of peer work has been completed. The land acquisition work for this entire 508 km long stretch was completed in January itself.
