Burkina Faso: Employers encouraged to turn small businesses into multinationals
Ouagadougou, September 5, 2024 (AIB) – The Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, on Thursday in Ouagadougou urged employers to work to promote small and medium-sized businesses and ensure that large companies become multinationals, expressed the president of the National Council of Employers of Burkinabè, Idrissa Nassa.

Present in Ouagadougou to participate in the general meeting of the Burkinabe private sector, the delegation is made up of representatives of employers from Mali, Niger, Benin, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Togo, New York (United States of America) and business from Burkina Faso.
In the opinion of Mr. Nassa, President Faso also hoped that employers would invest more to support business leaders to make the Burkinabe private sector a real source of proposals and a key player in economic and social development.
The general meeting of the private sector of Burkinabè, organized by the National Council of Employers of Burkinabè (CNPB), will be held from September 5 to 7, 2024 in Ouagadougou, under the theme: “What contribution does the private sector make to the economy and the private sector. social development of Burkina Faso: status, issues and perspectives”.
This event coincides this year with the 50th anniversary of the employers.
