Bus accident in Soacha, Colombia, leaves 15 injured

Colombia.- During the morning of this Monday, May 6a serious accident occurred that shocked the city of SoachaColombia.

A bus was overturned on a road in poor condition, leaving an initial balance of at least 15 people injured.

The event took place specifically on Carrera 18 Este with Calle 43f – 47. According to witnesses, the bus driver was trying to go up a hill when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll back and end up overturning.

The accident was about to cause an even greater tragedysince the bus almost collided with some homes in the area.

However, thanks to the driver’s maneuvers, a larger disaster was avoided.

According to preliminary reports, the main cause of the accident appears to be the poor condition of the road, which has numerous potholes.

This street is one of the main access routes to the Cazucá sector, which highlights the urgent need for care and maintenance of road infrastructure in the region.

A witness to the accident commented: “It was when the bus was boarding. There are no more access roads here, it is the only one we have presented so far, there are no more because the other roads are completely damaged.
