Business News: Sensex rises today … stocks rise … – sensex rises these stocks gained over 10 on bse

Many stocks rose more than 10 per cent in early trade as the Sensex and Nifty closed higher on Thursday (today).

Anjani Finance was up over 10 per cent at 14.57 per cent and Adani Power was up 14.18 per cent during today’s session. Similarly, Rane Madras was up 13.68 per cent and Rhodium Realty was up 13.28 per cent. Podar Housing was up 13.1 per cent, Narmada Gelatine was up 12.13 per cent and Birla Cable was up 11.57 per cent. Sentinel Circ rose 10.8 percent, Vadilal Ind 10.3 percent and One Global 10.0 percent.

The 30-share Sensex was up 460.06 points at 58926.03 and the 50-share Nifty was up 142.05 points at 17605.85.

In the Nifty index, 40 stocks ended in green and 10 stocks ended in red.

Meanwhile, shares of Adani Wilmer Ltd, Shalipatra Finn, RMC Switchgears, Nysa Securities and Mahindra Lifespace hit new 52-week highs. Meanwhile, Forbes, Dabaria Tools, Solara Active Pharma, GE Power India and RCL Retail Ltd. reached their 52-week lows.
