Indian badminton player PV Sindhu has lost in the last league match of the 2021 BWF World Tour Final Series to be held in Indonesia. She was placed in Group A of the women’s singles and played against Chochuwong of Thailand.
Sindhu lost the match 1 – 2. Sindhu had earlier beaten Denmark and Germany 2-0 in the same group stage match. With that, Sindhu is going to play against Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi in the semi – finals.
Sindhu defeated Akane Yamaguchi in straight sets in the women’s singles quarterfinals of the Olympics last July.
