Amir Allama Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari of Hefazete Islam Bangladesh called for rejection of the controversial textbook as a devout Muslim.
He made this call at the current national seminar titled ‘Reality and Future of National Education Curriculum and New Text Books’ organized by Hefazet Islam at Diploma Engineers Institution, Kakrail on Sunday (May 5).
It was presided over by Ameer Hefazat Allama Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari.
In the seminar, the article was presented by Nayeb Amir, Dr. A F M Khalid Hossain. At this time, Joint Secretary General Maulana Azizul Haque Islamabadi read the written statement of Ameer Hefazat.
Allama Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari said that there is one debate after another about the national textbook. Education is the backbone of the nation. To defeat a nation, it is enough to destroy its educational system. There is no alternative to rejecting this controversial textbook if you want to raise your children as devout Muslims.
Babu Nagari said, “You should be more involved in our call to the conscious parents of the country to be aware of the current education system and curriculum.” There is no alternative to rejecting this current controversial textbook if you want to raise your children as devout Muslims. Publicize what your children are being taught at school.
He said, our national textbook has come under the grip of Hinduism. It is organized to destroy the faith of Muslim children in the bud. We will not allow this plot to eradicate Islam in the name of secularism to succeed, InshAllah.
Allama Shaikh Sajidur Rahman, Secretary General of Hefazat Islam, presented 7 demands in the seminar. The demands are that ‘Islamic education subject’ should be included as a compulsory subject in all disciplines from pre-primary to class XII. The ‘Islamic education subject’ should be reinstated in the collective assessment of classes 10th, 11th and 12th as well as board exams. All anti-Islamic texts, including controversial and rejected anti-Quranic evolutionism and transgenderism, must be removed from the syllabus. In order to stay competitive in the labor market of Arab countries, the teaching of Arabic language should be made compulsory at all levels.
