San Antonio, Texas – December 27, 2025 – Authorities have located a body in the search for 19-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmas, who vanished on christmas Eve, sparking a widespread effort to find the missing Texan.
Search intensifies, body Found Near San Antonio Home
The revelation occurred just days after Mendoza Olmas was last seen, prompting a complex examination into the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

- Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar announced the discovery of a body tuesday, approximately a few hundred yards from her residence.

- A missing firearm belonging to a relative was also recovered near the scene, adding another layer to the investigation.
Mendoza Olmas was last seen walking on Wildhorse Parkway near her home around 7 a.m. local time on Wednesday, December 25th, according to footage released by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office on Monday. This was the last confirmed sighting of the missing teen.
Investigators Consider All Possibilities
bexar County Sheriff Javier salazar announced tuesday that a body was discovered earlier that day in a field located a few hundred yards from Mendoza Olmas’ home. However, Salazar cautioned that it was “too early to tell” if the remains were those of the missing teenager. Authorities are working to confirm the identity.
“There are some indicators” suggesting possible self-harm,Salazar stated,adding that investigators do not currently suspect foul play. The cause and manner of death remain undetermined pending further investigation.
The clothing found on the discovered body was “very similar” to descriptions of what mendoza Olmas may have been wearing when she went missing, according to Salazar.
