A top official of the education department has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a teacher to correct errors in the PF account. Kottayam vigilance arrested R Vinoy Chandran, PF nodal officer of aided school teachers. In addition to sending nude pictures, the teacher was also asked to come to the hotel room.
Vinoy Chandran is also the junior superintendent of the education department in Kasaragod district. He had misbehaved with a teacher from Kottayam. The teacher’s PF credit card had not been updated since 2018. The teacher approached PF Nodal Officer Vinoy Chandran to resolve the technical issue. Vinoy Kumar has repeatedly demanded that Tanik surrender to correct his mistakes. He reached Kollam on Wednesday and landed in Kottayam on his way back. I booked a room in a hotel near the railway station. He said his shirt was dirty and asked the teacher to come to the room to buy a new shirt. The teacher informed the vigilance about this. The teacher came to the room with the shirt on the instructions of the vigilance officers. Shortly afterwards, vigilance officers took Vinoy Chandran into custody.
His mobile phone was also seized. In addition to nude photos, he also sent pornographic messages. Vigilance has registered a case of sexual harassment with authority. The complainant is a teacher of an aided school in Kottayam district.
